This was my second time photographing at waddington airshow and I think it's safe to say I'm improving. These are just a few of my shots from the day as I took over 1000! As you can tell I'm a bit of a hellicopter fan!

Observational Photography pt2

Observational Photography.

People have always intreegued me so I thought I'd give observational photography a go. I intentionally tried to take photos without being noticed as people are more natural and relaxed.
I found that the more photos I took the more daring I got with it, allowing me to get closer to people to get the images I wanted, however I think I need a bit more practice to get a bit closer but I think this is something that will come with time.

Day at the beach.

Hello all!It's been a while!I've been suffering from a rather long creative block, but hopefully all is back on track now! :)
Above are my photos from my trip to the beach (beaches) The jellyfish was absolutly huge! It was a good day, and even the sun decided to join us, as well as lots of seagulls!
Photos arn't brilliant but I was more bothered about lazing in the sun!
Hopefully going to be a lot more photos and odd bits of design work uploaded soon as I'm already helping out with some photos for the mental health campaign I helped out with last summer, so watch this space :)
Oh!And I finally got my placement all sorted, and myself a lovely new flat which I can move into in a week or so :)

huddersfield pt2

Huddersfield.

Finally another blog post!
Spent my Saturday wandering round Huddersfield with one of my friends while he was location hunting, and of course I took a couple of shots whilst on the way. I particularly like the one I took in th market as I love the documentary style and it's deffinatly something I'll be playing round with more.

Afflecks Palace.

This a self initiated project I did for uni. I came up with the brief to create more awareness for Afflecks outside of Manchester. I wanted to show the variety of things that could be found at Afflecks and the energy I feel goes with it. I came up with using the colour scheme red, yellow and blue after seeing a sale sign in a window in Camden, this is what the top design is based on and I've then expanded on that to come up with the other 3 designs. Top ones my fav. Feedback welcome :)

Ontop of my last post. I'm now having rather a lot of technical difficulties with laptops and harddrives so it might be a good few months till my next post, will keep updated on my twitter though :)

Varsity

So Huddersfield won varsity this year, of course. The photo when we found out we won, taken by me :)

I apologise for the lack of posting lately, I'm going with the new rule of not posting competitons I enter until they're closed and not posting uni projects until they're finished. Being so close to my deadlines uni work is currently really the only thing I'm working on, but I'll be back to full blogging standard soon.
