I love this lovely little place in leeds, they cook your meal to order right infront of you and even though im the fussiest eater in the world i still love it. The cute little boxes are brilliant, I have one, complete with chopsticks, sitting in my room at home (it was in my uni room but sadly had to be packed off home :( )

Heres my cute little dont panic packs :) the envolopes are designed by a different person each time, there another part of the dont panic competitions. I like the variety of leaflets the packs always have in, heres just a few of my favs :)

I'v always loved Don't Panic! since i first came across one of there envolopes years ago, I still have it and also have another 2 in my collection now that i found a shop in Leeds that distributes them. Just entered there latest competition 'Time'. Votings not open yet but feel free to take a look here and get voting when it opens :)

One of the competitions we were given to enter over the summer to promote cycling in London. It was an illustration brief but i realised too late and decided I was entering it anyway :)

Pearlie Kings&Queens

So this was my groups final design for our solar energy themed pearlie suit. We decided to take the eco friendly theme to the next level by using the idea of crisp packets for the coloured badges using yellow, red and orange, and the silver insides for the solar pannels on the suit. We also used informative badges with statistics and keywords for the solar pannels to add more meaning and depth to the design.

GreenDay2010

This poster was for the first Huddersfield GreenDay Art Expo. Again I designed this for a friend, text was added later by someone else.

The Chill Festival.

Below is a invite(top) and poster (below) for 'The Chill Festival', a mock event which my flatmate had to do for her coursework, she asked me to design both a leaflet and poster for her using a teepee with all the basic information on. The designs are basic but effective and took me just a few minutes to do :)

Okay, so today I found out my team for the Pearly Kings and Queens badge project won, along with 2 other teams :) (I think this is rather good considering it was the first time most of us had worked in a group like that)
Our finished suits going to be exhibited in the degree show and possibly in vivienne westwood's shop in manchester *fingers crossed*
I'l upload some photos when the suit is completed :)

Still Life

These still life images are of objects from around my house, the shots are all fairly simple with the lighting playing a major role in how the images have turned out, especially with the second and third images where the light bounces off the glass items.

So here are a few images Iv taken out and about. The top one being a distant picture of Lincoln cathedral from the cobbled streets.
Second image is a kissing fence which I found in a field whilst watching my brother play football one day. I love how the light lays in the image.
The third image is one taken on film as part of my As photography and shows the outline of Cleethorpe pier.

Liverpool ♥

These are some photos from lovely Liverpool from 2008 when it was cutural capital. The top image is an amazing moving sculpture, the circle slowly spins a whole 360 which I thought was an amazingly cool way to make use of an old building.
The second image is one i took at the docks outside Tate Liverpool when I got a bit snap happy but I love the image.
