Another one of my latest doodles! This time with colour added in Photoshop, starting to get a hang of this basic drawing :)

Eye See You

Today i decided I would start getting more acquainted with Adobe Illustrator, i only have a very basic knowledge of the program and up until a few months ago had never even used it. I chose to keep it basic with a simple eye, not too bad for my first attempt though :)

Drawingy bits

I set myself the mission of being able to draw half decently by the end of summer so heres my next attempts, not monsters this time, i decided i'd branch out a little bit. I know there only basic but there not to bad for a none illustrator I rekon!

Pearlie Kings and Queens suit

After like 8 months of work our suit is finally finisheddd! It didnt take us as long as we thought to put it together, already having our circles cut out certainly helped. Below is some of the pictures of the process and final design of the suit, il put some better ones on when we find a manakin to put our suit on though. To be honest i rather like our suit, although were not completly happy with the hat but thats because it wasnt the origional one we wanted and proved a bit difficult to do and just didnt seem to look as good :( but enjoy =D

Storthes Hall

Sadly were soon to be leaving the amazing Storthes Hall, and no matter how much I hate the buses I have to admit its the best place to live for my first year of Uni, and defiantly the best student accomodation for any avid photographer. Heres some of my photos from in and around Storthes in the last year.

I think its about time for some new posts. My friend sent me some websites to browes through and i found these lovely remakes of recycling logos. I love the modern take on the same old logo :)

Badges

We finally started putting badges together today, was a lot harder than we thought, first we couldnt get the crisp packet circles off the sticky stuff we stuck them down with and then when we did some were too big to put in the badge maker. In the end we managed to get around 4/500 done between us, we needed to restock on red and yellow circles so more work will be done tomorrow. Not the most exciting job in the world but hopefully it will look amazing once its done.
