Placement

The work from the last two month at my placement, I have done plenty of other stuff but I'll be here all day if I put all that on. Also I've worked on a lot of internal stuff which I can't publish publicly currently. However Brilliant Media now no longer exsists, and is now part of Mediacom (basically I now work for Mediacom instead, safe to say this probably hasn't happened to a placement student before)

Final Comvort logos

These logos are the final ideas I came up with for a competition to re-design the comvort logos. Sadly they didn't win, but being my first attempt at proper logos worth the blog anyway!

Photos of two of the ads I did that made the Sunday Times.

Comvort

Logo I designed/updated as mini project at work to be entered into a competition, not bad for someone who hates designing logos, even if I do say so myself.

Brill!ant

So for all those who want a nosey at what I've been doing so far on placement here it is! Largely while I'm still learning I'm setting ads, however the top on (brill!ant) I did from scratch, although it did take a good while to get something that was brilliant branded.
Safe to say I've become a lot more skilled in InDesign, I'll be a pro with it by the time I leave!

Yorkshire.

My plan today was to upload some of the placement work I've been doing, however CS3 and CS5 arn't friends, so until that issue is resolved you're all stuck with this lovely 'yorkshire' vector I put together.

First day.

Had a bit of a play around on InDesign today, nothing too technical just getting back in touch with the basics. Apologies for these images been blurry as I pulled them off the internet at work. (also the last ones very similar to a piece of Liams work but I was going more for the technique than the designs this time)
